I have not seen where it says if the start up procedure is critical as far as the computer, the controller, and the plasma cutter being turned on. Does it matter or can any of the three be turned on in any sequence?
Yesterday we did however, create a job, datum the machine, and cut the part. It may seem basic but we have been babysitting our newborn grandson for the past week so shop time has been limited. By next weekend Sue hopes to be out there cutting something a little more detailed.
    Thanks

I turn on PC (let it boot completely), controller, open software and then plasma. If I turn the plasma on first and then the controller I have had the plasma kick on for a couple seconds when the controller kicks on, not good. I'm using the older version though. Yours may be different.

Since you are running the Accumove here is what I suggest. The Am (accumove) is a computer. So first start up your computer and let it sit until it stops thinking. Once done turn on the AM box and count to 30. Once you hear the lifter station engage then start up the VMD software. This should start up solid every time.
