Is there a way to snap to an existing corner? And a way to move a line by grabbing it at the end and not in the middle?

I need to make a box that is say 20x10. I need to take 1" out of each corner L shapped so it can be bent on a finger brake

I've tried making a small 1" box in each corner and then using the x,y grid to find the lower left of the both boxes to XOR weld them. Every time I do this it never puts them directly on top of each other. I tried to use the snap to grid and draw it line by line but it's taking way to long.
    Any other ideas?

Lets see how many ways to do this...

    1. Node edit with SNAP TO GRID.

2.Generate a square to the size and over size by .1.
Use the ARRAY tool and grid pattern.
once all the squares are in place then use the XOR WELD.
    delete the overhangs.

    3. Or just use the ALIGN hot keys. T - Top R- Right L - Left B - Bottom.
