We are working on getting a new plate marker from Torchmate set up. We have it installed correctly.

We have gone through the directions to a T. We get the machine to fire the pierce point at program 0. Then we set program 0 again and jog the platemarker over the pierce point into the hole that was just pierced. Next to tool #2 we press set and the offset appears. When we go to run the job we set program 0 and the platemarker does not run along the line it should. It engages straight down, but the gantry does not move at all. It does not continue the rest of the cut. We have verified the colors of the tool path are correct as well.

    Any suggestions or advice?

This sounds familiar and you may have already fixed the issue but for others that may be interested in knowing, under Tool Library in the VMD software turn off Ok to Move and Z axis for Tool 2, would be the same for Tool 4 if you have an Oxy torch.

This was exactly the problem. Thank you very much for your help!
