We are tying to set up x- angle to cut a part that is not square with the table. The reason we want to do this is so we don't have worry about cutting directly along on a table slat so we like to angle the plate a little . We need to know how to navigate through the program to do this. We also need to know how to navigate through the program to edit the tool path and the order in which inner shapes are cut within a part. Any help would be appreciated
Torchmate University has videos to show you how to do the things that u want to do. Sequence is done in cad and skewing the plate is done in the vmd software
Thanks for the link to the videos but my operator said he still needs to find out how to skew the plate with a x-angle reference,we have the Torchmate 2 controller software.
Skewing the plate is only available with the Accumove controller, Torchmate 2, 3, 4 does not have that option.
I would just rotate the drawing in cad, the skew the plate on the table and do a dry run on the plate to make sure the part fits....
Thanks guys, I was suspecting all along that it didn't have that capability. So we'll have to live with that and my operator just said before we saw Doug's last post, we would have to rotate the drawing etc.. We'll only do that on long cuts
