This is a bumper I offer for the 80 series landcruiser. Its what drove me to purchase my torchmate 4x4 and get into cnc plasma. Before I had cut by hand. I built one of these for my own truck and due to the response online and requests for builds it has turned into my first online product. All the plate is cut on the table. what used to take days is now done in a couple hours. So happy with the purchase and all the new avenues of work that it opens up for my small 1 man home shop. Here are some pics of the bumper. 80 series bumper with D2's cut in.jpg 80 series bumper D2's close up.jpg 80 series bumper.jpg

Love the stainless! Man after my own heart. Welds look nice, MIG and TIG. What gauge? Hard to tell in the pic but appears to be VERY solid. Nice work!

Thanks Ben. it's actually mild steel. The center section is a mix of 1/4'' , 3/8'' and the wings are 3/16''. the hoop is .120 wall DOM steel.
And it is extremely strong and heavily tested. There are stainless tie down loops I weld on in 4 places and a machined stainless bottle opener that goes under the wing as well but this customer did not require those.
Your contributions on here are great as well!

Thanks for straightening me out Rich! Now that I can see the pics a bit better I see the remnants of mill scale. Blasted finish appeared similar to a 2b finish stainless. Still a product that I could see spending my money for and in todays world is about the best compliment I know to give.

I like your implementation of the tow points to insert a strap, good looking bumper.

Looks like you want to make one for my 06 big tree... I don't like getting my hands dirty but very close to the design I was looking for. Great job!

If you are having issues uploading files I would recommend getting ahold of the admin.

If you give us some details on the problem we can try to help you out!

All you need to do is hit "Upload a File" and then you can select images from your computer.
